  • EXTREMELY RARE 1904 WORLD'S FAIR TOY:

    Rare 1904 World's Fair Toy of the Eiffel tower with a rotating man in a dirigible. It is believed to be one of only two known to exist. This antique children's toy replicates the real life flying machines of inventor Santos Dumont who won the Deutsch de la Meurthe cash prize of 100,000 in France on October 19, 1901 for rounding the Eiffel tower from Parc Saint Cloud. These toys were especially created to promote such dirigible races. Toy DOES NOT WORK. The spring isn't broken, everything is there, the wind up catch is out of adjustment. This toy is primarily constructed of pressed steel does have it's original patina. The balancing ball is lead and weighs approximatley 1/2 lb. No maker marks found. Don't miss this opportunity to own a piece of history and a fun toy collectible.

  • U.S. MODEL 1878 SPRINGFIELD RIFLE & BAYONET

    The barrel ahead of the trap door is stamped with “V” over “P”, an eagle head, another “P”. Behind the door on the receiver is the serial number “38360”. The lock plate is marked with the shielded eagle with arrows, then "SPRINGFIELD”.
